Travel reportage - Cinque Terre
This is a small album of the days I spent in the Cinque Terre national park, moving from one city to the other. I'd love to go back and explore more the life, on this trip I was focusing more on the beauty of these cities, litterally a step away from the sea: Portovenere, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza. I mainly moved with the train, but got to do an amazing walk from Manarola to Corniglia in an early morning and to meet a few people doing the olive harvest, which I'd love to go back documenting more.
Travel reportage - Turkey
The travel around Turkey started in Instanbul, where I took another plane to reach the Cappadocia and Goreme, the places there look quiet unique with those famous geological formations called "Fairy Chimneys". I then took a walking tour into the Ilhara valley and it's amazing churches dig into the rock and ended up in Nevsehir and its castle, from where you can see the whole national park of Goreme. The next stop was to visit another ancient place, the Pammukale ruins, built by romans where they set their thermal baths, even nowadays is still possible to take one on a private pool into the park. Went to Izmir and Ephesus and all the way back to Instanbul, where I wanted a dive into the turkish life and the routine of people, it was one of my first travels, so had not many contacts with the poeple there, was not sure how to do and the language was a problem, only a few were actually able to speak english.
Travel reportage - Cuba
A serie of photos taken during my travel around this beautiful caribbean island, it was hard to separate the romantic idea I had of this place and the reality the people have to live. I hope was able to show both the beauty and the quite hard condition of the daily life. On my travels I always try to focus more on the reality I discover, rather than make an idillic view of a certain country. Said this, I have found lots of dignity, love for life, joy even in these hard conditions. The photos shown here were taken in: Vinales, Playa Giron, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Santa Clara and l'Havana. I got to visit only half of the country, it seems always so small on the map, but once there you realize how big it's and how much there's to visit and discover.
Travel reportage - Mexico - Belize - Guatemala
Travel Reportage - Morocco
A serie of photos taken during a road travel in Morocco, I'm always looking to tell stories of the places I visit, be able to express the culture, traditions, mood of a certain city. When I visited this country I got fascinated by the beauty of certain cities or even remote villages, I actually got more impressed by the "out of the route" ones. Loved to have a real contact with the people, get to explore places that only after a few years and due to the socials have become mainstream among many. The cities touched in the travel are: Chefchaouen, Merzouga, ERg-Chebbi, Ouarzazate, Essaouira, Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Fes
